Why Did Sirius Black Have To Die?

Why did Sirius have to die in The Order of The Pheonix?? Harry was sooooo happpy to have a Godfather, then he just slipped behind the veil , and he was gone! Wats up with the veil anyway????

well i sent you a messege about this i think but i think the reson that she killed him off is because(spoiler for 6th) sirius like dumble dor was killed cause he would not let harry fight voldamort when he was alive and well he had to and besides he was not that important to the story he was more of a disposible charecter to use when she could not think of anything else probley

THat may be the case, but if you ask me, it may be because destiny(i guess you could call it that) might say that Harry is unable to defeat Voldermort(if he does) with Srius alive. He was more than likely killed of for a reason that will show itself in the next book.

J.k.Rowling said she had to kill 'im off. Cuz she all ways liked stories where the hero had to face the villian on his own. And Sirius being Sirius would help Harry wit Vold and as I said J.K. didn't like it. (She didn't like it cuz she thought it was you know.... I can't think of the word.)

well its was used as a exucution place once i think it says somthing like that somewhere in one of the books i think that the person gets put into it and cant ever getout cause rember how harry heard voices when he was near it well i think that was people suffering and calling for help
