Besides HP my favorites are Ella Enchanted, Inkheart (I have yet to read the sequel), Glint by Ann Coburn and the Inheritance Trilogy. I also like the Chronicles of Narnia, although they aren't as addictive.
What about you? Let everyone know and if you read any new ones that are good post here. We could start a type of book club!

I read all of the time! I especially love trilogies, sagas, and series because it seems like there is always a lot more going on in those books, ya kno!!

I love:
The Firekeeper Saga
The Inheritance Trilogy
Harry Potter series (dur-fa-dur!)
The Inkheart Trilogy
Dragon Riders
Theif Lord
and any books that have magic or dragons in them.

I have read a ton more that I love but those are a few of my favorites.
LOL!

I don't read as much as I'd like anymore, but here are some of my favorites other than Harry Potter:

Sundancer- Ed Hayes
Twelve and One Half Keys- Ed Hayes
A Prayer for Owen Meany- John Irving
The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit
The Education of Little Tree- Forrest Carter
Where the Wild Things Are
The Illustrated Man- Ray Bradbury
Anything by John Steinbeck
Any collection of Poe

Mine are: Ender's Saga by Orson Scott Card (...in fact, give me anything by him, it's all great)
LOTR trilogy (anything by Tolkien is good, too), the Rhapsody trilogy by Elizabeth Haydon, and a lot more...it's hard to keep track of books I read...oh yeah, the Remnants series by ... I don't know, the same person who did Animorphs, I think...and more.

I don't get much time to read anymore, unless it's for school and they are usually really boring books from centuries ago. I've heard the Magician trilogy by Raymond E. Feist is supposed to be good and even though my brother has had all three books since xmas i still haven't managed to read them. It's only a matter of time though!

The Sally Lockhart books by Philip Pullman

Dark Materials Trilogy is pretty good too, also by Philip Pullman (love him!)

Artemis Fowl series-Eoin Colfer (anything by him is good)

Eragon- Christopher Paolini (I haven't read the others, I really want to though.)

I love the illustrations in A Series of Unfortunate Events, and I like the stories too, because they are truly entertaining in that Lemony Snicket can write the most far fetched things and get away with it. Those books are cool.

I recently read Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer. I like them.

Room 119 (or something like that) It's got an incredible twist. A strange, slightly disturbing book.

Sherlock Holmes- love how the mysteries are solved.

Agatha Christie books- ditto on the above

The Bourne Identity- Robert Ludlum. The movie changes it so much!

Portrait of a Lady by Henry James, Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare, and a good number of Spanish ones that tell about loony old men who fall in love with every woman they set eyes on and Don Quijote, etc, etc, etc. I hate to think what they'll make me read in 6th form. It'll be Jane Austen next. Maybe I ought to watch the film Pride and Prejudice to prepare myself for the book.

Lol! We had to do a bunch of Shakespeare in my school too.
Julius Ceasar is next for me.
I would rather watch those stories instead of reading them. lol!
