From the looks of everything.. I was just wondering if anyone felt the same way as me. Does anyone think that maybe, from the evidence we have found in the 6th book that maybe harry's scar is a hurcrux(sp)? I think Harry can feel the way Voldemort feels when he is getting stronger and weaker from the scar.. because harry is part of him. He, also, got the passeltongue from him.. ? Considering that is very rare. Just curious.. give me ideas of what you think.

That's been talked about a lot on here. I couldn't tell you where to look exactly (might want to start in the section on book 6), but I know you can find plenty of material and discussion on it here.

Actually it wouldn't make sense for Harry to be a Horcrux. Because in order for Harry to kill Voldemort he has to destroy all of the Horcruxes so in order for Harry to kill Voldemort he would have to destroy himself, then there would be no way for Harry to defeat Voldemort, ya kno.

As has been discussed before.

Yeah and Voldemort wouldn't make a horcrux then try to distroy it later.

I do not at all buy the Harry-is-a-horcrux theory, but I had a thought...

How about if you bring a dementor into the picture?
If it can work in Azkaban and follow other instructions,
can it gently remove a horcrux from the object without destroying the object?

What -- no takers?
This is the most brilliant idea that's been posted here in weeks.
Where is everybody?

The idea has been following me around all day.
Developing... The possibilities go on and on.

Why do the dementors like Harry so much?
Why did they search his compartment on the train?
Why did they single him out at that Quiddich match?
Why did they attack him before attacking Sirius?
They were looking for a murderer. Can they sense a damaged soul?
If Harry is an accidental horcrux, does he somehow stand out to them?

How do they communicate? We know that Fudge talks to them.
They told him that Sirius had been talking in his sleep.
And that they were "angrier than I had ever seen them."

That is the most brilliant idea on this site, Psyduck, at least I think so. But i have another idea, if he is a horcrux, then in what part of him did Voldemorts sould go? Did it fuse with Harry's(oh the possibilities of that) It would explain why the dementors like him so much(i'm not sure "like" is the right word) It would also explain why the sorting hat thought to put him in slytherin. But if there souls did fuse, and i dont see how they couldn't have, then can they be seperated?

Even if none of this is right, it sure would make a great fanfic.

I posted all of that just to get a "thank you"? No thoughts on my thoughts??? Oh well, your welcome. It really is a brilliant idea. I haven't seen anybody think of dementors yet.

I kept wanting to reply to this idea. . .but it seems to be way over my head at the moment. I haven't ever given any thought to the dementors...ever.
It's a very interesting thought...lemme think about it for awhile, lol.
