28 September 1985 - ALMOST TWENTY-ONE!!! ("But why's the rum gone?" - Capt. Jack Sparrow)

I am a male student/pizza delivery guy from Indiana. I love Harry Potter audio books, but they're so expensive. Jim Dale is really good compared to other audio book narrators.

I have a PhD in mouthing off to Psyduck and was recently inducted into the DD Lives! Club.

No, you have a PhD in dreaming, sonny boy. You'll need to work a lot harder for anything else. I'll let you know when you've earned your kindergarten certificate of completion.

Hi, I am a 44 year old married mom of 2 kids, 4 and 7 who enjoy the Harry Potter movies. But I gotta tell you, it is mom who is the harry Potter freak. I must have read each of the books at least 7 times; and each time I get something new out of each of them. I eagerly await each movie...however, I am always aware that there is no way in heck that a movie can ever compare to the book...and we shouldn't expect it to to. Just enjoy the movies for what they are, and the books for the masterpieces they will always be. Did the movie "Gone With the Wind" compare to the book? Anyway, thanks for letting me rant....laurie

Its been a long time since I've been on here. Am I really getting ready to turn 35? There used to be lots of us old codgers on here. Do you remember BuffyBuff and Prospero? They were my age.

Hello, all.

I'm 21, just turned in January, and I've been a HP fan since... I was thirteen, I believe. I have all the books so far and I've read them all over five times, my favorite is OotP. I love large novels and hate for them to end and though I'm excited for the last book I'm kind of sad, too.

I also have my own HP role-playing site, which has mostly older members, so that's good. Lol.

Anyway, it seems like a nice community here and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Gia
