I love Pirates of the Carribean (the second one comes out in July) and Lord of the Rings. I wish they'd play them at the cinema again. They're awsome on the big screen. Also Oceans 11 and 12, and The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. There'll be another one called the Bourne Ultimatum someday. Can't wait.

Madagascar, National Treasure and Catch Me if You Can are all good too.

I have never seen any of the oceans movies or the Bourne movies but I have seen all of the others and I agree with that they should play the Lord of the Rings on the cinema again because that spider looked so AWESOME, ya kno.

Ditto. Gut's spilling out does not equal scary, thrilling, or even entertaining, and it certainly does not make something a good film.
Ok, some of my favorite movies:
Forrest Gump
The Shawshank Redemption
The Lord of the Rings
Radio Flyer

As far as comedies go, I like all sorts of stuff, but some of my favorites are:
High Fidelity
The Sandlot
Airplane
The Big Lebowski
Napolean Dynamite
Office Space
Army of Darkness

I like the sandlot also it's a cute movie. I also think that blood gore helps the movie become more scary only if it looks real, though.

I don't like that jelly lookin stuff. lol!

How dare you! The Sandlot is not cute!! :P
I love the Sandlot. I'm not sure why, but it seems to be one of THE movies among people within a couple years of my age. Along with The Goonies and a couple others maybe. But especially those two. Despite the fact that the Goonies was made several years before I ever saw it.

Maybe it does it for you, but I honestly don't think it makes it any more scary. Being scared is all about the mind, not the eyes. Horror directors today need to take a page out of Hitchcock's book. They could stand to read a few Stephen King novels as well.

I like stephen king novels and movies too they are very good and most are scary. Only there was one that didn't scare I can't remember the name though.
It had a bunch of pshycics in it, though.

I'm not sure if I remember that one specifically, but not all Stephen King stories are horrors or thrillers. Stand By Me, The Shawshank Redemption, and The Green Mile are all based on Stephen King stories.
