Dumbledore's Brother

I am new to the site I and I hope I am doing this in the right spot. However, I think I know who Dumbledore's Brother is. I think he is the bartender in the Hog's Head. Here is my evidence. In HP4, Dumbledore mentions that his brother got into trouble for doing experiements with sheep or goats (I can't remember which one right now). Well in HP5, when the kids walk into the bar, they said it smelled of sheeps/goats. Also, it goes on to describe the bartender as being strangely familiar. The last piece of evidence I have is the prophecy. REmember that when Dumbledore was meeting Trewlany (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly), he did it at the Hog's HEad. Somone was spying and the spy was thrown out half way through the prophecy. Who threw them out? Possibly the bartender. And why would Dumbledore go to the Hog's Head, which is dirty and ugly, to interview a new teacher, rather than the Leaky Cauldron or even stay at Hogwarts? So there it is. It sounds like a JK clue if you ask me. What do you think?

You're right surprime witch, Trellawny chose the Hog's Head because it was cheap (according to Dumbledore) but Dumb also said that the eavesdropper was thrown out.

Who threw the eaves dropper out? In aplace like the Hog's Head who would notice let alone care, about eaves droppers? You may well be right saxplayer.

The really interesting question for me is who was the eaves dropper? It's not like JKR to leave this promise just adangling.. ????

Thankyou surprime witch! So what do you think? Willy Widdershins, the exploding toilet guy, was spying on the DA meeting in the Hog's Head and reported it to the Ministry. Could it just have been some low life like him? But then again, he seemed to have overheard by accident, whereas ths eaves dropper of the Prophecy would have had to follow Dumbledore up the stairs and listened at the door. Who would have thought to do that except someone tailing Dumbledore maybe?? This gets me back to: There was and possibly still is, a spy in the Order.

I gotta pick up on saxplayer's point again though and ask: Who threw the eaves dropper out and why??

Dumbledore's brother did. He might not be as clever or as powerful as Dumbledore but he would look out for Dumbledore. Maybe he was a "protector" or something for Dumbledore and his affairs.

i think the dude in the hogs hesd is aberforth dumbledore too. He did experiments on goats.
