4th Book To 4th Movie

I heard they are going to try to make the 4th book a 2 hour long movie! What do think about that?

Do you think there are scenes that can be taken out? What do you think MUST be kept in?

Also, they are going to take the Dursleys out of the 4th movie! What do you think of that?

Why should they be in. Why shouldn't they?

My opinion on this whole matter is that there shouldn't be ANY scenes they are thinking about taking out! I mean, we all love Harry Potter for it's details, and what makes the characters the characters. You can't just not have, say, Winky because she is extremely important. But then again, they took out Peeves even though he was pretty important.

Also about the Dursleys, they shouldn't take them out, but they seemed to have taken out all of the funny parts, which means they don't care if they take out the ton-tounge toffee. I mean that would be funny to watch, but I don't think they care.

I'm not so sure that Peeves is important, I wish JK would do away with him... Anyway, Hermione, I 4get were, but their's a petition on this site you can sign, that asks Warner Brothers to legthen the movie. Hopefully, they'll listen, so we don't get another disaster like Prisoner of Azkaban.

I heard that they were trying to do a 2 part movie
(like what they did with lord of the rings)

They would film it all at once and then release it as two separate films
set months apart.
As hard as it would be to wait for the end
I think it would be the only way to cover everything.
2 hours would barely get you past the world cup (without cutting too much)

i am very up set that you think peeves is not important i beleave that hes just as importnt as harry potter.

i'm sorry you feel that way, Dragonis, but I totally disagree that Peeves is as important as HP. He's a malicious, mean ghost who's sole purpose in death is to make the lives of all miserable. No importance whatsoever.

your absoltly right hermione, everybody in the book plays a important role, think about it with out the dursleys you would not know why harry feels as bad as he does , the mood will be destroyed therefor the bookwill not make seens

If the Dursleys are gone, I'm going to miss them. They are the worst sort of muggles--the kind you love to hate. They prey on small defenseless people. That's the reason that Harry Potter wants to slay evildoers. He's making up for all those years he couldn't defend himself against the Dursleys.

The thing about Peeves is that, as a character, he doesn't move the story along. He's good for a few laughs but that's about it. So I don't think Peeves will be missed in the movie.

I don't think Peeves is a great character but he would be an interesting special effect in the movie. Are you sure that Peeves has been cut from the movie?
