Hello from sunny Florida - I feel the same way none of my friends are interested in the book series but one or two like the movies. Its hard to discuss anything with regards to the books around here. That too is why I decided to start chatting on here. As a slightly older reader its hard to discuss with other people who think its all for young adults. But I truely believe its for anyone with a good imagination and a love for the magic in life.

Yes, I believe that the books are for all ages, and not just young adults. For example, my mom reads the books and likes them, so do most of my aunts, but my dad thinks that the books aren't for anybody because he doesn't have an imagination, when he reads fiction he thinks "that didn't happen" or "that can't happen" sometimes he makes me so mad. Anyway what I'm getting at is the books are for everyone who has an imagination, because if you did read these books without an imagination you would be lost in critisizing the book and would miss the magic and beauty that comes from them.
