They are at war in the 6th and I think main characters are meant to die, but I'm with you Gryphyndorchick, can't be Ron and Hermoine 'cause they've got to end up with each other. OHH, maybe their final pledge of love will come when one or both are on their death beds?? Naa My money's on Dumbledore or Snape.

Dominoe: Where have you been? And where is KaraC? Did she leave us?

Buffy: Well if anyone has to bite the dust, I vote for Dumbledore in the movie. That actor should not be playing the part. He should be advertising LUCKY CHARMS cereal "Ach! What's happened to me Lucky Charms? Some skivving bludger has nicked 'em!" I say, "Belt up ya ruddy bloke!"

However, Dumbledore in the book can stay. We need to find out more about him.

Whaddya say to that?

My money's still on Dumb. and Spanesywhapsy but given my most recent new hobby - Lupin baiting - I'm going to throw in the theory that Lupin's spying ways will be found out and he will be killed (whether or not he'll bite Hermione and thus turn her into a werewolf and then possibly marry her (this last part isn't my theory but for the low down on THAT discussion go to 'Character Analysis')).

Buffy: I agree with you. Lupin is the front runner for carry-out. I predict that Lupin will be smoked in Book 6. OZ HAS SPOKEN! We represent the lollipop league . . . Where are those ruby slippers . . . Oh No, somebody's dropped a house on my sister . . . Ooooh I'm melting!

Zonko"I'Mmmmmmmm so excited!!! Do you AGREE with me?? Lupin-not-as-nice-as-he-looks is gonna bite a bullet which would be fine except for the fact that this particular bullet - that he's biting - happens to have his name on it?!

I unfortunately can't return the favour. As much as I liked the 1st Dumbledore (Rex Harrison??) there was no humour; no glint in his eye; silliness to him. The second Dumbledore has got just a smidgen of the nuttyness to him- just around the edges, mind.

Lupin: I still don't mind the 'Snape finds redemption and repays James's life debt by sacrificing himself for Harry' but we've gotta throw every theory we can into the ring or we'll NEVER be right. I, for one, don't like that idea at all!!!

Buffy yeah I would slightly agree with you but I do not think he soft spoken enough, I think he is to young looking which they probably did because hey did not want another to die. I also think he is to short, but I have to make my self look away from that and imagine the book when I am watching it this November.

Can you do this: Can you forget the image the movies have put in your head and replace it with the one you've imagined while reading the book? That's amazing! I can't. My daughter and I were talking about this yesterday while watching the 3rd movie again (all this talk about the PoA movie foreshadowing events to come in the books, we had no choice!!) and we both agreed that even when we are re-reading the books now, we picture the scene and the characters as the films deplict them. Our imaginations have been surplanted. We wondered what we had created ourselves 'cause there was no way we could get them back.
