I've seen the name Mark Evans around alot. It was mentioned on JK Rowling's official website. Is he a real person or someone appearing in the next book? I know there's someone called Mark Evans on here, is he the real one? Please someone tell me. By the way, does anyone know if JK Rowling visits this site?

Mark Evans is the kid Dudders and his gang beat up at the beginning of the 5th book. It was a mistake by our Jo to name the victm 'Evans' (she says) because Lily's surname was Evans before she became Potter. Thus heaps of speculation - " did Harry have cousins?" etc - came with this Jo-stuff up. Jo ended up having to come out and state "Mark Evans is no-one" therefore making it THE most sought after posting name. Well 'the most sought after posting name' after Squidward which is the name she said she would use if ever she did post on these chatrooms.

In answer to your question 'Does Jo read these postings?', I like to think Jo's watching over all that I do........ then I could sue her for stalking

oh thanks ive only read the 5th book a few times and i neva noticed it. it would be cool if Jo did look at this sight. Squidward...weird name.

As for her looking at this specific site and/or posting, I don't think she knows of this, or as I like to call it, our little corner of the world.

She does know of other chat sites, and does read and/or respond to them. HEY! That's what we should do! We should make our little corner of the world known! I mean, come on, we are PRETTY BIG Harry Potter fans!

*whispers* Plus you'd think she'd respond with us talking about her all the time.
