Yeah, for awhile I thought Snape had liked Lily, but now I don't really think so. But I have been wondering alot why did Voldemort actually give Lily a chance when he's killed others so ruthlessly? Hmmm.... <_<

VOLDY 'N LILY:
I posted some stuff on this.. don't know where.. about 6 months ago, on this very thing. Not my theory, but I brought thoughts over from anoother site that went something like:
Why did Voldy tell Lily to stand aside??
he'd just killed James with no worries, so why "stand aside.." to our Lilly??
Also, way the " stand aside YOU SILLY GIRL'?? Don't you think that sounds a little.. well.. intimate???

Yep, Voldy and Lily

:P

A lot of this relationship ship was launched 'cause before the 6th book Jo said that there was something "telling" in the 3rd movie 'bridge scene'; Harry and Lupin on the bridge, that would portend important stuff to come. We all got.. well.. a little excited and came up with all kinda theories about relationships- a bloody armada of shippers!- including stuff about Lupin and Lily (alright, alright, I'll admit THAT one was primarily mine) and ... well, turns out all she was talking about was that LUpin fell in love.. woopty-do! Jo's 'clues' are really bad

None of this explains why Voldy told Lily to stand aside......??????? Why, do you think???
Did Voldy have luv in his red snakelike eyes for our lil' Lil's??
Had they made some kinda deal??
Why did he tell her to move aside and why did he use the words that he did - ie. condescending but not unfamiliar?

Just thinkin'

SNAPE 'N LILY:
So this is just another thought to patch onto the above post, Jo said that "Snape was loved once, unlike Voldy.." [paraphrasing obviously]. Could this have been Lily?? (I think it's his mum but...)

Jo also says that there was someone else at Godric's Hollow on the night of the Potters' murders. (Well. OK. What she actually said was "no comment" when asked if there was anyone else there. Samething!) I think this was Snape. He'd given the info about the prophecy, hinted to Potters' because he was so jealous of James but, because he still loved Lily, begged Voldy to let her live. Snape was there in the shadows watching to see if 'his' Lily was alright. He watches in blind, awful terror as the whole thing goes horribly wrong. Shocked at what's happened, he gets back to Dumby and confesses his sins. The horror of that night means that he cann't stand being called a coward because he just 'lurked' by and watch it all happen... What you think???

Yes !! I have always thought that if Voldemort gave Lily a chance to live was because Snape (in some way) told him to do it. But I would like JK Rowling to tell us openly on the 7th book that he was really in love with her, just to stop wondering and because it's a nice option.

Did you really think Snape was involved in Godric Hollow?
I never started thinking that way until the interviewees kinda suggested it (in the new year interview with Jo.)
I'm still not convinced Snape was in love with Lily. I think Jo was suggesting that Snape had been loved by his mum rather than Lily but could be wrong.

Gotta say though, the idea of Snape being an eye-witness at Godric's Hollow is certainly growing.
Why else would he feel such life-shattering remorse?
Why else would he be so sensitative to being called a coward if he hadn't witnessed a horriable act that he was responsible for? This could be a response of a child brought up in domestic violence though... hmmm??... dunno

The 'stand aside silly girl' is a real puzzler
What do you think?

I've been wondering lately... IT IS FOR SURE THAT THERE WAS SOMEONE ELSE AT GODRIC'S HOLLOW !!!
Someone took Voldemort's wand after he vanished and gave it back to him on the 4th book !!! (i'm so stupid that I just realized this week, when I was watching the 4th movie once and again, and again...) it could not be Wormtail because he has been a rat for twelve years!! where did he kept it then? SNAPE did it !! It could not be Lucius either because Voldemort get his wand back before Lucius even knew that HE was back.
So... what do you think?
