| I think that Snape doesn't like Lily because she tried to be nice to him but he just....what's the word....snarled at her I guess you could say. And about someone being there in Godrics Hollow, I think we're able to narrow it down actually. Here's who we know for SURE was there: Wormtail aka Peter, Sirius (though we can cross him out for sure), Hagrid (cross him out too),and.......Voldemort himself. But what really stumps me, is you'd think Voldemort wouldn't have gone by himself, even if he did think he could kill them alone, he always likes an audience when he kills people, but WHO was it that he took with him? And if it was Peter, what did he do with the wand once he was in rat form for all those years.....though they never did find his clothes becuase they thought he was blown to PIECES! And I don't think we should cross out Lucius just yet, he's really slippery..... |

| Ok, guys, enough of this. There’s simply no reason to think of Snape and Lily. About that “Stand aside, you silly girl” line -- “Don't you think that sounds a little.. well.. intimate??? …condescending but not unfamiliar?” No. I think he just wanted her to stand aside. "Snape was loved once, unlike Voldemort.” Of course. He was loved by his abused mother. “Jo's 'clues” may stink in her interviews, but in the books they’re not bad. Think of Ron & Hermione. Who, if anyone, was in Godric's Hollow? It could not have been Snape. Only Peter, the secret keeper, could have told him where it was. Voldemort could not have told Snape. “Someone took Voldemort's wand after he vanished and gave it back to him on the 4th book.” Obviously Peter. He could have hidden it anywhere. “Voldemort wouldn't have gone by himself, even if he did think he could kill them alone, he always likes an audience when he kills people, but WHO was it that he took with him?” That’s a good one. More compelling than the “No comment.” I now believe that someone was there. And Peter is the most likely suspect. “I guess that would explain why Snape kept that memory in the Pensive.” No. The obvious reason was that he wanted to hide certain memories from Harry in case the Ligitemens thing backfired, which it did. That’s what he wanted Harry to believe, anyway. I think his real reason was that he wanted Harry to see it. There was and is no Snape - Lily connection. |

i dont think that voldemort did i mean he killed her point blank didnt he? and as for snape he probably did i wouldnt be surprised at all especially in the 5th book when harry goes back and snapes worst memory chap and hes being held up in the air by james and lily talks james into releasing snape from the spell that was holding him by the ankle in the air when he got down he said he didnt need her help but i kinda sinced that maybe it was welcomed and at that moment he might have thought that she wasnt like everyone else he might have started liking her then who knows? |

| I don't think there was a Voldemort-Lily thing going on for the reason in the sixth book where JK in the form of DUmbledore explains how Voldemort had what we all considered to be called friends, but he never really likes any of them, and never will. As for the Snape-Lily thing, no way, because he was a HUGE pure-blood supporter, and hated her only because she was of muggle-blood (plus the fact that she gave birth to Harry). |
