I did a biography of J.K. Rowling and she got some of names for the books from her old niehbors;Ian Potter and some other people

Also, She made the stories up for her kid in 1990 while on a train ride to England.

Yeah that's true. I personally don't think that this man has anything to do with the books most likely just a coincidence. I know that a man with the exact same name as my dad died in 9/11 and everyone thought that it was really him. So it is probably true that JKR had know idea at the time she writing the series that her character was, in a way, REAL.

"Thought this was funny

Cradock's Harry Potter was a man of flesh and blood who lived in the town in the early 20th century.

He was buried on July 27 1910 in the local church cemetery.

But, little is known about this Harry Potter except that he died at the age of 46. Those in the know think he might have been a descendant of the 1820 Settlers who settled in the area.

His grave was "discovered" in the church cemetery by a Dutch tourist Thomas Kott, who recently made another startling find - the grave of James Bond in a Bloemfontein cemetery. "
Wow,Dumbledore-this person sure goes to the cemetary a lot! What does he do for a living?

Sorry'I don't know how to 'qoute"
