I was just wondering who was going to dress up for Halloween? Is anyone going to be a Harry Potter character?

I plan on dressing up this year as Professor McGonagal. I have some costume parties this year to go to. I think it will be fun to go as her. I have the hat, a green robe, and small square glasses to wear.

If you are going to participate this year for Halloween who are you going to be?

That is great! I love Halloween. I think Harry Potter characters are going to be popular this year with the book just out and the movie comming out next month. Good luck with what you choose and have fun with it.

drats. YOu guys get to have all the fun.
We don't really have Halloween in Australia AND we have to wear uniforms to school.
Ah well. I went to a baby shower on the weekend and we had to dress up as a little kids character.
I dressed up as Madeline, you know the little cartoon french girl. It was wicked!

Yes, that's right No Halloween. If you went trick or treating in Australia no one would be ready for you, or in costume. Probably wouldn't even realise it was Halloween!

We don't have Halloween in Europe either, although it's becomig popular because of the US movies.
Some people in Spain are starting to dress up that day, but we don't know what that festivity means (is it the right word "festivity"?) or where does it come from. What does it represent? Can anyone tell me ?
