SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! If you haven't read Half Blood Prince yet, STOP!!!!!!




Buckbeak has been free since Harry and Hermione saved him in POA. Why didn't they immediately rename him? Why all of a sudden in HBP do they think he needs a new name? Also, while they're at it, since Harry inherits him, why not magically change Buckbeak's appearance or the color of his feathers, in case some git like Malfoy recognises him?

What do you guys think?

thats a great idea, i mean couldnt hagrid have replaced buckbeak with another hippogriff that he didnt like, which would be hard to do considering he loves animals, but arghh, that draco!
