What else were Dumbledore and Snape arguing about in the Forbidden Forrest (a Gethsemine (sp?) allusion?) except the SEEMING murderous betrayal that Dumby needed Snape to do??? [/b]
Ok, so let me get this straight. You're drawing parallels:

Snape -----------Judas
Dumbledore-----Jesus
JKR-----------------god
Forest-------Gethsemanie

In Gethseminie, Jesus was arguing with god.
In the Forbidden Forest, Dumbledore was arguing with Snape.

It's still not working.

undertone / stage whisper

I think you missed my point.
I was arguing AGAINST the Judas-Snape thing.
I guess my communication skills are weaker than I thought.

Seriously -- as founder of this thread, are you annoyed?

Ok, we drifted a little.
The Judas stuff was relevant.
Snivellus, Judas... there really was a connection there.
the Davinci Code and Mary's kids were a little drifty.

[/b]
I'm just a little annoyed that you drifted so much, but more amused than annoyed! JK Rowling even said that Dumbledore is not Jesus. Let's stick to the matter at hand. The Judas stuff is sort of relevant but it depends on which way you see it...if Snape is good or bad. Let's forget about all the Da Vinci code and JK Rowling-God stuff, OK? By the way Psyduck and Aberforth, I hardly even followed your arguement so little of it made sense!

Let us move on from here and talk about Snivellus, not the Pope and the Da Vinci Code.

PS. Psyduck, Jesus wasn't arguing with God in Gethsemene, Jesus was asking if it was possible for him not to have to die, but if it had to be so, he'd do it. Other than that I agree with your 5:51 AM post. (You're up that early??!)

Who was he talking to?

And wait a minute -- I don't even agree with my post.
I was arguing AGAINST the whole idea.

Oh, I get it. It's a conspiracy.
You're all trying to drive me crazy.

Well, it's not going to work! Do you hear me?!! It's not going to work!
It's not going to work! It's not going to work! It's not going to work!
It's not going to work! It's not going to work! It's not going to work!

(I'm already there. Haha! I win!)

I agree with your post because you were against it. So am I. Jesus was talking to God.

Oh. You were just clarifying the little detail,
"argue" vs "ask."
I think I get it now.

Never mind.

Well, if you guys ever do conspire to make me crazy, consider yourself warned.
Your attempt will not work. You would do better to abandon it.

I just thought of a good signature line --
"Don't Ever call me Crazy!"

Yes. That is why Psyduck is totally insane!

The whole Judas/Snape thing was an analogy; i really didn\'t mean for paralells between all main characters in HP and the bible. I\'m pretty sure you get that but... well, I\'m a smidgen cautious after the last \'over react\' from one n\' all. It was kinda funny though. 20 bucks says we can create another Great Schism ... opps, this is probably how all the bloodshed happened the last time; Henry the 8th Chat.com has a lot to answer for!
