Is it just me or as J.K. made Lilly out to be almost saint like? We have a fair amount of information about Harry's late mother, and from what I can tell it is all good.

It just seems to me that J.K. has made her an object of perfection. Or perhaps it is because we are mainly getting the input of Harry and that is how he sees her. But then again we are seeing James in the same way, but we have found some of James' characteristics to be a little less than desiarable.

We don't really know about Lily that much. All we know is that she was a goody good, and she was very brave.

yeha, they make her saintlike but thats from her point of view maybe she relates lily 2 her mom, i mean she died when she was 45 (her moms age)

I don't think we have enough information about Lily, only that she was caring and loving with his son, really brave and fair too (remember the pensieve with Sanpe and James?? Sh actually defended Snape eventhough he called her a mudblood)

And the most important piece of information we have about her is the sacrifice she made for Harry.

I'm a mother and I think I would anything for my son! And I'm not saint!
