Duel To The Death

In the fourth book , when harry and voldemort dueled , their wands formed like a web thingy .......because their wands are brothers ............whos to say that willnot happen again?....in the 7th book?

That's what I've been thinking. Maybe thats why Ollivander disappeared. He was kidnapped by Voldemort so he could help Voldemort to stop that happening again.
Or maybe Ollivander heard from Dumbledore or someone what happened, and is on the run because he knows Voldemort will be after him.
I mean, Slughorn was on the run from Voldemort and nothing had happened to him to make Voldemort chase him. So I think Olivander would be wise if he is on the run.

Yes, that was pretty odd I wonder what happened to him... do you think he joined the Dark Lord's forces?

I'm sure Olivander is on the run. Voldemort probably wants to know what happened with the wands, and what he can do about it for next time. I would think that the best way to find out is to find Olivander. Harry should do the same. Whoever finds him first gets the prize. (Or he should at least get a back-up wand.)

I hope Olivander visits one of the good guys soon,
because he can't hide forever from Voldemort.

Unless he can turn into a chicken or something... He could hang with the Weasleys...

I'm sorry. I'm confused. Where is it that you all are getting the impression that Ollivander is on the run? Is that in HBP? And if so, on what page? I don't remember any mention of him.

Remeber when they went to Diagon Alley Ollivanders was deserted and someone (can't remember who) told Harry that Ollivander was missing. Well don't you think its likely he's either kidnapped or on the run?

By the way, just because there was no sign of a struggle in his shop, why can't he still have been kidnapped? I mean couldn't he have been kidnapped from his house, or while he was walking down the street or visiting a friend, or whilst holidaying???? Why does he have to have been kidnapped from his SHOP?
