| My first name is Allyson meaning noble or of noble blood. Then my 2nd name was after the angel Marie who forgave her killer just before she died. So like my halo. ![]() |

| This is a really fun thread! Fenrirbound -- awesome storytelling. I've never heard the name Fenrir before the HP series, but it's very interesting (though not surprising) to read the original legend. Miesha Potter -- I know two people with nicknames that are similar, they sound the same, but are spelled different. One's name is Michelle, and the other is Amelia. Maybe, the nickname portion is what your mom decided to use, not knowing there is a full name to go along? I mean, I also have a friend whose name is Peggy, but it's not a nickname; typically the full name for Peggy is Margaret. Any which way you got your name, I really like it. It has a fun and mischievious aire about it, without being trendy or over-used. Ottery St. Catchpole is a town in Devon, UK, near the Ottery River. The Burrow is near there. I picked it just because I like otters. |
