| Looks who's talking, psyduck. Talking about what? This phrase implies that I am criticizing someone for doing something while doing the same thing myself. I don’t disagree with the implication here – I don’t even know what it is. This is what I mean when I use the word “nonsense.” You have nothing to say. It’s just noise. What, the truth offends you? The subject of this thread was a group of people who have invented a form of Quidditch that is accessible to muggles. You said that some people have no lives. This is not, by any stretch of the imagine, a “TRUTH.” It is not even an opinion. It’s just a sneer. What, are you so juvenile And this makes sense because ….? Irrelevant. More nonsense. Name calling. You could have invented a new, nonsense word and it would have had the same effect. that you have to edit posts because you don't agree with me? First of all, I have to edit all of your posts anyway (if only for myself) because they are incoherent. They need not be. This place welcomes many people who speak other languages. Weak writing skills are understandable and acceptable when you make an honest effort to communicate. Trying to COVER UP the weak writing skills with deliberate mistakes doesn’t make you look better. It just makes it harder to understand what you’re saying. Or it would, if you had anything to say. After all that deciphering, the realization that you have nothing to communicate is especially annoying. And anyway, I didn’t disagree with you. You’ll need to express an opinion before I can do that. I could have said much worse and offending things, Of course. You have and will continue to do so. My question is: WHY DO YOU WANT TO? I use other forums and I do not bite my tongue as much I think your power to edit posts should be revoked Wait a minute – are you getting ready to express an actual opinion? Something along the lines of “power corrupts” or that I’m abusing my position? because you are obviously one of those crazily obsessed fans who thinks that witches and wizards are real and Nope. False alarm. No rational opinion here, just more nonsense. My caretaker tools should be revoked because I (allegedly) believe crazy things? In what way does that make sense? tries to summon their remote with spells. All I get from this line is the sneer – you are trying to say something offensive, but it’s not working because I don’t know what the line means. Now, if (you) edit this i will be less upset because this could (only?) be offensive if you are juvenile. So, you are saying that my being juvenile makes it ok for me to edit your posts? Or that editing your posts give you permission to call me nonsense names? Or that your ability to call me names makes you feel better? Last edited by Psyduck : 12-06-2007 at 07:27 PM. |

| juvenile - means 'child'. A 'juvenile delinquent' is a troubled child - who breaks the law, does bad things. If there's anything we can learn today - hopefully it is that 'punctuation can be your friend.' It helps us to know when one sentence (or thought) has finished and a new one has begun. |

| It can be a noun, but in this case it was an adjective. Children will call each other "baby," often with a sing-song voice. It doesn't need to make any sense. It's just intended to be insulting. It works with small children. Quote:
