No, I do like your Dobby idea, it's quite original, I was talking more of the costumes that look very messy and not at all in character.

A green and silver ensemble would be amazing, but all black is technically more correct. Severus only ever wears black and MAYBE a green and silver scarf.
Hm... it would just have to be as flowing and wing-like as possible. After all, if you don't somewhat resemble a vampire, than something's not right!
