did you see the new movie?

So what did you think about the new movie?
I thought that it was rushed along.
there was not proper respect to things that made the book good.
Like that Weselys leaving Hogwarts, and Rons dad in the hosptial. they didn't do Nevels parents right. OR sirius (dieing) he didn't get hit with the Killing curse in the book. why didn't sirius give Harry the mirrior?
And last but not least the fight at the end WEAK what the heck

I thougth it was a good movie.. But all the things you mentioned where true..

I think the reason it was rushed is because they have to make the movies before the trio and everyone "Grow up" By the time the last movie is out it is said that Emma is going to be 20 so that means that Dan will be 21 and Rupert will be 22.. (I think if i got the ages correct. If not then correct me please)

I'm seeing it tomarrow.

I heard it was darker and scarier than all the other ones. Is that true?

well in my opinion the darkest movie was PoA... but anyways i thought the movie was really good, actually my favorite of all of them, they did a great job getting the story out there and clear for non-readers...i think the whole cho snitching thing (instead of her friend) was good because it made us feel the same way about her as in the book (liked her, got mad at her, then ended up liking her again) that was helped by snape saying how she used the last bit of veritaserum on cho...so we knew she didnt "squeal" purposely

it was different to the others but there all different to each other, some are dark and others are like light but hard to say how, well for me it is.


i enjoyed it, currently tis my fave movie so far.

I think that it was still a disapointment. Plus the actors will be older when they finish so what look at the cast of 90210 they were 30 and plaing teenagers

I saw it yesterday . And well , it's not as exciting as how I expect , but it's still acceptable . The thing that shocked me the most is that it was much much shorter than I thought it would be . It's only about two hours and ten minutes !

right that is the problem. it was ok to do a 1to 2hr movie with a 300 page book.
but look at the GOF that is the first longer book and that is where the movies took a wrong turn.
I think that the later movies being longer books need the time to get the time that they deserve. I can only hope that they do the next two movies better.

i think he s a bit too short compared with the others...

the story is completly disort:
neville has find the room of requirement,
harry has seen snapes memorie by a "protego" spell
sirius had shown harry this pic of the old order of phoenix
and sirius died by a avada kedavra curse

and i can´t remember that sirius gave harry this package with the 2 way mirrow of his dad... o.O

never really liked the movies much cuz eevrything's so rushed. but can't blame them because the books are so long and detailed. they tried and it wasn't so bad. overall i'd like to watch it again.
