did you see the new movie?

The thing that has disappointed me for the last couple of movies most was Hermione.

Yes she's pretty and smart and everything but the scenes I enjoy the most are the ones where she is passionate.

For example

When Ron and Harry make up after 1st task in GoF, she bursts into tears and says "You two are just so stupid!" That was Hermione at her most Real and most entertaining. But in the movie she just says "Boys" (total opportunity lost)

Also in OotP there is the bit between her and Ron which I always liked:

"Thanks Hermione, and if I'm ever mean to you again.."

"...then I'll know you're back to normal."

They said this in the movie but I almost missed it, they were sluffing it off so much.

I hope we see Hermione's heart on her sleeve more in the next films. It's really central to the charm of the books.

I did see the new movie & It was too rushed & the storyline was so messed up they need to try harder next time.

That's a really good summation and I agree ...too rushed.

I have to say that I think david yates did an amazing JOb. How much Plot can you fit in a 2+ hour movie. Not to mention that it was the longest book in the series.

I loved Luna. Her parts were paerfectly written for her and she just had the whole essance to Luna down.

Yes, there is only so much you can do so much in 2 hrs, but we're are the small remarks, that heart felt moments in words like the Hermione moment with the guys... I know that the book was the longest in the series, but did they have to cut so much out of the movie??? It's kinda hard to expect less when you know there is so much that can be done to show the heart of the story... Even if it's just one small added detail.

i completely agree wid u. i didn't enjoy d movie. also, d prophecy wasn't read out, as it was shown.. not a great job!! also, d photo of order was shown to harry by moody and not sirius. i hope, d nzt movie will be better..
