Not magnified. Concentrated maybe. Hundreds of pages of a book that's a real page turner condensed into an hour-and-a-half length movie. Some scenes highlighted, some merged with others and some totally forgotten. I'd have preferred longer movies with plot-lines intact and like that of the books. I don't think anyone would have minded to pay a little extra to see them.

But movies are supposed to be a little bit different from the origin stories , aren't they ?
And that's all makes them " movie " .

Of course you're right. I'm just trying to make my point that they could have been made better because the books were so good. I just don't see the Harry Potter movie series becoming the next Star Wars in terms of following, but it really had the potential to do just that. The real lovers of Harry Potter will always stick to the books and read them over and over again.
