The books may be children's...but the movies are getting more and more adult! It's rather freaky!

Because the themes of the films, and how the story is portrayed are getting to dark for children. The first movie...you could take a 6yr old to see. The 4th...my mum wouldn't let my 13yr brother see it! it was too dark. And he doesn't get scared often at all! He can watch Horror Movies

Well , that's the matter of different personality .
But the the 4th movie is sure much more violent than the 1st .

It is a little more violent but that is where the story picks up so there is alot more action in that part
