Harry Potter Books Might Be Banned In Schools

Yep, she could be devoting her energy somewhere else. Like helping people in third world countries, who supply lots of the commodities the first world countries buy - such as coffee, tea and chocolate - to get a fair deal for what they produce (fair trade). That would make a much better world. Of course, if they did ban the books that would make them even more interesting: tell someone not to look at something and they'll look at it to see what all the fuss is!

True. And how many people have tried to ban the Harry Potter books anyway, I know that there are plenty that have never and most likely will never succeed in this relentless mission of theirs, ya kno.

I think it's so silly.
I can't imagine many children deciding to become pagan because of the books, or if they do, it's not like they're harming anything. It's not dangerous.

I believe they are ruling on the matter today...

Worst of all, this woman hasn't even read the books she has judged so harshly. She obviously hasn't read Chapter 27 of the Order of the Phoenix:

(page 582) "Oh, Harry, don't you see?" Hermione breathed. "If she could have done one thing to make absolutely sure that every single person in this school will read your interview, it was banning it!"

If Rowling was having any trouble selling her books, I'd have thought she paid that woman to make such a stink. Pathetic. How can an adult in this day and age not know better?
