Silly girl...the books wouldn't be banned altogether...just in schools. You would still be able to go to the library or book store and get them.

i completly agree with you i mean who in their right mind is going to believe harry potter promotes withcraft that's as good as saying any book with the slightest bit of magic promotes witchcraft.

Ban it? Er... why? Donīt people understand that if it werenīt for Harry Potter most kids that read the books would still be stuck watching TV and playing videogames all day long, never mind not being able to read properly. My brother would never read a book before HP.

one of my friends never picked up a pick! She treated them like you would skunks or poison ivy. lol! THat is until Harry Potter. SHe loves the whole series and Harry Potter is like the only thing she reads.

I tell, Harry Potter has saved so many grades it isn't funny. lol!

I also think that we have rights and it isn' far that people can tell us what we can and cannot read. I think that we are mostly old enough to make our own decision and it doesn't make sense to let some crazy woman try to tell everyone what isn't allowed, ya kno.

I was checking that out. 'Evil', she said. 'Evil'. Huh. You know what else is evil? Killing innocent animals, bullies, people putting down other people, racism, a lot of things are 'evil'. Some more 'evil' than Harry Potter. Huh. Is, um, is — is she trying to, trying to fix them? I, well, I just don't see her doing that, if I'm mistaken. Huh. Funny.

P.S./A.K.A.(all of the above)

That was just another way of saying that she's a dumb asss (had to add the extra s in there so that you would know that the word is not butt).

Good thought.
I too, think that it is more important to get rid of those things than is is to ban a book in our schools, unless that book tells kids to do horrible things. (Which Harry Potter does not)

There are so many other things this despicable woman could do to protect kids that it is unthinkable wasting her time to ban 6, soon to be 7, of the worlds most favorite and well-known books.
Someone needs to wake up!
