According to...various sources, the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (movie) is November 21, 2008.

Well IMDB has it in 2008, but they don't say a specific date. Where'd you find Nov 21?

Of course they can. Studios set deadlines like that all the time.

They'll probably film a lot of the two movies together.
Scenery and adults don't change in two years.
And even the trio is getting pretty elderly.
Maybe they can do some shots now and it won't matter,
and then they can do the close-ups later.
