Yes, I've read this article already. She doesn't say anything new or definitive about Dumbledore here.

Yeah, I don't think Rowling would ever just come out and say Dumbledore's dead. She once said that she only put theories to death if they were unprofitable, like trying to prove that Malfoy is a vampire.

That's not to say that I think Dumbledore's alive. I'm still sitting on the fence, but I think that Dumbledore is dead.

I don't understand why you think that JK wouldn't just come out and say that Dumbledore's dead, since he is, ya kno.

She wouldn't come out and say either way because it is such a hot topic among fans. It keeps people interested. She wouldn't come out and kill that.

Actually, I think she would if he were dead.

If it were true, she would have pity.

She's having an awful lot of fun messing with death
for someone who doesn't like to mess with death.

And Dumbledore is dead and she just said so, so why isn't it shut down!? (Oh, wait, I know, all Harry Potter fans are stuborn and won't listen until she confirms it ten million times!)

I think that in the 7th book, finding the Horcruxes will be more important (or at least it should!) than bringing Dumbledore back. It doesn't seem to make sense to get rid of him and then bring him back in the next book when there are so many other important things that need to happen other than that.

(Oh well, why even try? It's hopeless) It would take a lot of space in the book to explain why and how he did it. The book just isn't going to be big enough.

And personally I would rather read about Harry finding and destroying the Horcruxes than how Dumbledore faked everything! (Here it comes.)

Yah J.k would never say if DD was alive. Cuz it ruins the suppence for us belivers.

She could make him just leave for part of the book, then come back and leave us all clue-less as to what happend to DD. And with that he could teach harry more. And even if he did die J.K. would probaly have some kind of book or something that DD left to Harry that would give him some more advice with the horcruxes.

Actually she would never say he way alive because he isn't, and even if he good somehow be alive (I'm not saying he is) she wouldn't say because she never does say anything about who will die and who won't, ya kno!

I also don't think that she would have said anything about regretting killing him if she didn't, ya kno!
