What is this topic for? Just background information?
Oh well, I guess it can be important at times.

Hermione.
Her parents are muggle dentists and she has no siblings (That we know of). She met Harry and Ron (her best friends) on the Hogwarts Express. She is in Gryffindor House and the best in her year. Hermione helped Harry get to the end in Sorceror's Stone by listening in potions and herbology. She gave Harry and Ron the clue that the monster in Chamber of Secrets was a Basilisk. She used her time-turner to go back and help Harry save Sirius and Buckbeak. She stayed up all night to help Harry find ways to get through his tasks in Goblet of Fire. Hermione also was a member of the D.A. And she founded the group S.P.E.W. Hermione went with Harry and members of the D.A. to the ministry to protect the "weapon" against Voldemort.
Hermione has went out with Viktor Krum, an excellent Quidditch player, and secretly has a crush on Ron.

I also know bunches more I am just getting hungry. lol

Severus Snape is the son of Eileen Prince, a Slytherin, and Tobias Snape, a Muggle. While Severus was at school he named himself The Half-Blood Prince because he was ashamed of bearing his father's name. He was a Potions teacher at Hogwarts then he became a DADA teacher. Apparently he killed Dumbledore but no one knows why and no one knows who's side he's on.
I'll see if i can find out anymore later. Afraid my brain has gone dead now. It's been a long day...

Hermione Con't.
Hermione's birthday is September 19. She was cornered by a troll in her first year which brought her together with Harry and Ron. And Hermione's greatest fear is failure (Which has never really happened) Crookshanks Hermione's only pet was gotten in her third year. (She had planned to get an owl but couldn't resist Crookshanks) Hermione had very large front teeth until she had them downsized in GoF.

Sorry this is a little jumbled but I remember things in bursts. lol
