Sirius Black Lives In Book 7!

You're right, we're not told which curse Bellatrix used on Sirius. I hadn't noticed that. I had just assumed that she had spoken the Avada Kedavra curse. We're also not told what colour came from her wand. The spell before the one that hit Sirius in the chest the colour was red, which we know is not the colour of the Avada Kedavra curse since it's green.

But Lupin seemed to reckon Sirius was gone and we'd expect Lupin to be as devastated as Harry over the loss of Sirius - they were mates after-all.

Yeah, I guess that it didn't say I always just assumed that it was the Avada Kadavra curse because he was dead when it hit him, but either way he is dead and is not coming back.

I do agree that Sirius is dead and not coming back. If he was still alive, and somehow magically appeared in the seventh, he would have to explain where he has been for the last year, how he came back, what he's been doing, etc.

And I don't think that JK can fit all this stuff into a book smaller than OotP, ya kno, because she needs to not have it all jumbled. Too much stuff has to happen or be told in the 7th book, ya kno. lol

I dont wanna believe he is but he just might be. JK also said that the three way mirrors are going to play a big part so the mirror can either connect wit james or sirius and i think that sirius is the better guess. lol

Well, Harry already tried to talk to Sirius using his mirror and that didn't work. I also believe that if the person was dead they would have to have the mirror with them to talk to someone on the other side, ya kno.

Maybe, Harry will use the mirror by talking to Hermione and Ron. They may go back to Hogwarts, so then Harry could have them get a mirror and Hermione and Ron could do research or help Harry from Hogwarts someway, ya kno.

for some reason im thinking harry broke the mirror. i must be wrong ill have to read book 5 again.

Well, if he did he could always fix with a simple "reparo" lol! I can't remember very well it's been a long time since I read the books.
He could also buy a new one. It isn't like he doesn't have enough money.

yeah there really wasnt any point to it being broken. it would be easy to fix... unless you cant fix broken magic mirrors.
