In the Philsopher's Stone, The Trapdoor is in the 3rd floor, right-hand-side corridor and yet it's doesn;t go through any classrooms. So, what is under the right hand-side?

I don't think it really matters. . .you're just over-analyzing :P
Really, we're talking about a magical world here...almost anything that doesn't make sense can be explained away by magic.

We're all just over-analyzing. That's why we're here.
Also, brain-storming is good. It stirs things up and makes you think again.
It could lead to something.

Huh?

Oh, I get it.
Fluffy's trap door on the 3rd floor is like
the Room of Requirement or the Weasley's car.
It somehow goes into another dimension or something.
Like a Bag of Holding in D&D.

Dunno if the rooms under the entirity of that third floor corridor would have been effected... only the ones under when Fluffy was 'cause that was where the trap door was. Then again once they got through the Devil's Snare, they appear to not be going up or down for awhile... of course anything's possible with magic.

I know what you mean by trying to figure things out. Remember in book three where Fred and George said that one of the secret passage ways had been blocked off the previous year (when book 2's events would have been happening). I went to sus out if there was any relationship between where that was and where the bathroom to the chamber of secrets was... but couldn't find anything.

that is very true-all of it.

Everything that i tell about in here is from the Harry Potter Audio Books that i have. i listen...something that don't make sense will come onto my earshot...and i'm OFF to the forum for reporting.

I thought i should tell you that-don't know why i do that...just like i don;t know why i like carrots/yogurt/jam in cruskits, occasionally topped with chilli sauce.

Ain't i wierd-like the stuff that is reported in here?
