Harry has been throwen out of the Dursley's house, and he is sitting on the wall in Magonolia Cresent. He senses Sirius, turns around, and says Lumos. But he didn't get in trouble for using maic outside schol as an underage wizard.

Fudge was so happy to see Harry alive that he didn't even care about blowing up Aunt Marge. If he were going to give Harry a hard time he could have added that little charge, just for spite. But after dropping the big charge, that wouldn't have made sense.

I think that Fudge would dismiss anything Harry did that year (almost) because he felt so bad and maybe even a little guilty because he thought that Sirius broke out of Askaban to kill Harry, ya kno.

Thought of something!

In Book 5, when the Prophecy was being said in the Hog's Head...a spy for Lord Voldemort was detected to be eavesdropping, and was thrown out. what if that person was Regulus Black? It would make sense, as Regulus was a supporter of him, and i have a funny feeling that he dies around that time, so he could have possiby been there.

Also...

I was thnking that "RAB" (from book 6) coild VERY possibly be the inituials of Regulus, as the 1st and 3rd initials are his name, and he WAS a spuuorter of the Dark Lord, and he could have been in that cave in Book six at any time while he was alive.

I don't think Fudge would ever feel guilty about anything.

True, Aberforth. He was probably just embarrassed.

Actually, PheonixDumbledore, I believe that Snape was the one who overheard what Trelawney was saying. Didn't Harry figure that out in HBP when he ran into her at the RoR.

HBP, pg 544 (Trelawney) "I well remember my first interview with Dumbledore... But then we were rudely interrupted by Severus Snape!... Yes, there was a commotion outside the door and it flew open, and there was that rather uncouth barman standing with Snape, who was wafling about having come the wrong way up the stairs, although I'm afraid that I myself rather thought he had been apprehended evesdropping on my interview with Dumbledore... Well, after that, you know, Dumbledore seemed much more disposed to give me a job..." (but Harry was gone...)

pg 549 (Dumbledore) "You have no idea of the remorse Professor Snape felt when he realized how Lord Voldemort had interpreted the prophesy, Harry. I believe it to be the greatest regret of his life and the reason that he returned..."

"...they're up to something," said Harry... "...Malfoy whooping, Celebrating! ...He's trying to mend something... he's fixed it at last... and you're about to just walk out of school..."

(Snape flashback x 2. Narcissa & Lily. A pretty lady, a maiden in distress, with an only son who is about to be murdered by Voldemort... Not this time.)
