I've talked about it in other places, but suffice it to say, of course Voldemort will die and Harry will live. She's going to want to end it with hope, not with sadness and despair. She's not going to kill off the child hero of a children's book. And if Voldemort weren't killed, there would be no finality to the books.

I just read a bunch of articles on the '2 more deaths' issue and a lot of them are hinting that Harry could be one of those people. Of course, I don't believe that he will die, but I do think that Voldemort will.
If Rowling isn't going to write anymore books, then I think Voldemort has to die, otherwise things wouldn't really be 'finished,' would they?
I just hope she doesn't kill Fred and George. . .or Luna. . .or Hermione. . .heck, I don't really want anyone to die!

Do we know if these deaths are going to necessarily be to the big characters in the series? Or do they include deaths like the ones that happened to Vance, Bones and even Hannah Abbott's mum? I mean, they would have been disconcerting to the characters surrounding them and Rowling's mentioning them may have some significance... plus its a war they're fighting. Anything that's a thought.

There is supposted to be at least two deaths this was confermed yesterday but i think that there might be more. I think harry, piercy, and krum. I think harry because i believe the whole harry is a horcrux story, piercy because hes in with the ministry so he could get involved somehow and finally krum because i hate him and want him to die(he stole hermione). lol

I didn't even think of Fred and George. Now you got me all worried!!
But I do believe Fred and George's inventions will come in handy at some point in book 7.

Well, most of the things I've read have said "major characters," but who knows?

And of course Fred and George's products will come in handy. . .they aren't geniuses for nothing! :P

That was actually some of my favorite parts of book 6. Fred and George's shop and the discussions of their inventions.
