9th?

I have heard from a lot of my friends at school that there may be a possibility that there is going to be a 9th book coming out.


What do you think?

I really want to know.

I thought i read somewhere that jkr was only going to make 7. She said something like everything is going to be cleared up in the 7th book and that there wasn't going to be any loose ends so there wont be a need for any more. But i do hope that she will change her mind and make more...kind of like a mini series after hogwarts or something would be cool...

I heard Rowling say in an interview that there was only going to be 7. She said it would be wrong to go on. . .

On her official websit e she said that she wuz absolutly NOT gonna wright anymore...it would ruin the hole thing!

i also heard that the series was ending at book 7. yes a disappointment. but i also heard that after the 7th she might make a sort of harry potter encyclopedia with people and places and like everything! that would be kool....i dunno if its true or not i just heard it. perhaps she'll make another series or book that we all fall in love with. who knows really...

yeah, unfortunatly theres only gonna be 7...ya i hope she starts some out of hogwarts..like him as a auror...that be cool...

I don't know what I am going to do after I read the last Harry Potter book. It is probably going to be really depressing.

Yeah! I think there is only going to a seventh book as well, but I just had to ask because My friends at school (before it was out on May 12) insisted that there was going to be nine.

Trust me I'm not stupid to think that after all the 7's she was going to 9

Also- for everyone who has been to www.mugglenet.com, the number "7" has a big part in the books, and JKR might have planned the 7-book thing to go with that. also, eveything is going to come together in the 7th book, and there would be no point in any others.
