First, she indicated that the crowd should consider "not 'why did Harry live' but 'why didn't Voldemort die?'" Next, she posed the question: "Why didn't [Hogwarts School headmaster] Dumbledore kill, or try to kill, Voldemort?"

maybe because in some weird way he thinks voldemort will change...I dont think so.

The reason DD couldn't kill Voldemort is in Harry. Harry has a piece of Voldermorts soul so if DD would have killed Voldemort then he could have just came back. So and Plus DD was ready to die before harry found out all this so Harry could not of gotten rid of the hocruex before DD died and nobody wanted to tell harry about the Hocruex in him until he understood everything about Voldmorts past. So that is why DD didn't kill or try to kill Voldemort

But this was started in 2004 they had no idead about this.

Voldy dissapered after almost killing harry and only survived because of the piece of his sole. THey new he was not dead but had no idea or where or why he went,
