"LONDON: Two diaries used as props in the latest Harry Potter film - The Chamber Of Secrets have reportedly been sold for over 4,000 dollars on eBay.

According to the BBC , Harry Potter uses Tom Marvolo Riddle's magic diary in the battle against his enemy Voldemort in The Chamber of Secrets .

A plain version of the leather-bound diary fetched 2,125 dollars and a second prop diary, with tubes attached to deliver fake blood from the book during filming, sold for 1,900 dollars. "

Wow! I know it would be cool to have a diaryfrom the book, but really, $2125 for something you probably will never use! I mean really!

it is cool but that is a lot of money for a diary .it is not even a famous diary or something sacred. well the person who bought it must have his/her reasons for buying it

Well, it is famouse, because it was used in the movies, but it isn't really, really, really famouse.
