Robert Pattinson pictured in a recent stage production
With work starting on the next Potter film, Newsround can exclusively reveal that the part of Cedric Diggory will be played by teenager Robert Pattinson.
The news was revealed by his acting agency. Robert, who is from London, is a strapping 6ft 1.

Like Cedric he's a highly skilled sportsman, taking part in everything from football and athletics to skiing and snowboarding.

But he's also reportedly an excellent musician playing guitar and keyboards.

Love rival

Goblet won't be his first film, he'll be appearing in the movie of Vanity Fair playing Rawdy Crawley and a German film called Kingdom In Twilight.

yeah i think he fit's the character of Cedric don't you very athletic and huge. I think he might be handsome i need to check out a picture of him.
