Yes, I am the man who threw away a first edition of J.K. Rowling's very first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. It was, apparently, one of just 300 copies and would today be worth £15,000 ($26,400).

and yes, i am one of the many harry potter fans that would have jumped in that trash can and took that book!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you not like Harry Potter?
I remember I found a copy of the Philosophers stone and the Chamber of Secrets in an Op shop which were new. I got them for seven bucks . A man had given them to the Op shop, because they were an unwanted birthday present. I thought THAT was amazing.
But this...Wow...

Icidentally, you have guts admitting it, HERE of all places!
