Trust me, it gets even more challenging as you get older.

That's why I'm going to get a wand, use that to get a time-turner, use that to go back and get the Philosopher's Stone, use that to become pseudo-immortal and obtain large amounts of gold, use that to hire an assasin back when TMR hadn't created so many Horcruxes to get rid of him once and for all. Oh, and retain my mental clarity.

Roflmao.
(This is one of those times where my mind is scattered around who-knows-where.)

I don't think that Harry Potters effect on us will ever die, so therefore neither will our beloved Harry. Cheesy I know! We will all miss the anticipation we get when we were awaited the newest arival, but we still have movies to love and complain how they got so much wrong and left it all out.

Just think how lucky the next generation of Harry Potter lovers will be since they will be able to read the saga completely without the wait, but then again maybe they aren't so lucky because they will never know the feelings we felt when we finally got the Deathly Hallows in our hands!

Harry will never die, but live on forever!!!!

Man! I have been spewing this kind of stuff all day! haha

I have a son who is almost two and I cant wait until he has the attention span to sit and listen to me read harry potter to him. I'm looking forward to exposing him to harry potter and seeing his reaction. And i agree he is not allowed to see the movies until we've read the books!

Thumbs up Re: Opinion: The life and death of the Harry Potter saga

Excellent! Therefore Harry Potter lives on. Masterpieces of literature have survived centuries. Harry will take his place on the shelves and WE all had the privilege of being right there with him. Our gift is to pass the story on. JK Rowling has ensured a magnificent adventure to everyone who trusts her and will take the first step into her world.

I do wonder if the series will stand the test of time - I'm talking years, not the next generation that we will be sure to encourage. Only time will tell.

Hhhmmmm I thought about that too. Unlike Nancy Drew or The Famous Five say... those tales have dated as society has changed. What was considered adventurous in the 60's and 70's would not get 21st century kids past the front cover. But Harry's world is timeless, ageless and because of that always relevant. But yes, you are right time will tell whether this children's fiction will survive to our children's children and beyond.
