    CHUTZPA!!

Something Inspirational for Those Who are Finding it Difficult

I caught this on the news yesterday. Some of you may have heard about it already, but I thought I'd share it with you anyway. This is a story about what a little effort and a lot of ability can get you these days if you look in the right places.

Fede Alvarez from Uruguay spent only $300 in producing a very cool video about a robot invasion that he uploaded on You Tube. The man now has a $30 million dollar contract with Hollywood.

It has to be said that the video looks nothing like a $300 shoot, but a lot is possible with CG today. I found it simply awesome. But in these trying times and with Christmas on its way, I thought that his rags to riches story would inspire others to look towards bigger and better things. Never stop dreaming.

Here's a link to a full article on the topic: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/buzz...hollywood.html

Watch the video and let me know if you think it took only 300 bucks to make.

Check out the music video underneath as well. It's bloody brilliant too.

I guess you've got to be brilliant to make it huh.

My laptop is allergic to utube.
I can do it on my kid's computer, but I never remember.

Still, you know, converting $300 into $30 million. It's mind blowing.

Yeah.. when you hear $300, you don't really expect much. Turns out quite different though. Hmm.. I think the Hollywood hotshots were more enthused by the fact that this guy could create something big with a small budget. Maybe that's why they grabbed him haha.
