Help!

well - I love the theory that first year's aren't allowed to upload avatars to mimic the first years not being allowed to play quidditch...

but... I think it's just a glitch in the system which none of us really know the answer to, or how to fix!

Do you remember who it was?

While I was on my "Psysquib" Quest, I think I got my avatar right away.
I don't remember having trouble with it.

You're right. I have 33 posts and my avitar has vanished.
But I had one before. I really did.
Does it come back by itself? Or do I need to create a new one? When?

i have you on friend list and i can see your avatar there.. it'll come back when you're 2nd year..
ok, we can't see it, but the question is - can you upload a new one?

Should I try now, at post #37, or wait and see exactly when it comes back?
Or are you sure it comes back at the beginning of second year?
(That was the whole point of this quest, to see what happens when.)

Page one of "Notes & tips..." shows the number of posts for each rank.I'm thinking about adding to this line something like:
"We seem to have a glitch that allows avatars for Squibs.
It will vanish in your first year and return in your second year."
Is this correct and does it make sense?

That's two questions: Should I try it now? And should I add that line?

yes psy, you should try it now, cause it comes back by itself when psysquid is second year. but we dont know wether a first year can upload a new one...i think not though.

But I like that dragon. I'll never find it again. Ok, I'll stash it here for now.

Also in my wanderings, I found a red dragon that seems suitable. Maybe I'll try that sometime.

I figured I'd try one of those Living Avatars.
Drat. Need 60 points for a dragon
One point for a basic person.
40 points for an evening dress.
Only two points leftover. But I need a weapon!

In fact , I remember having an avatar originally when I was a first year .
I think they've modified the system and my avatar disappeared since then . It came back when I became a second year . RIGHT AWAY .
