Avatars and Living Avatars

How to get an avatar. The 4 step process!

Step 1:Right under the banner on the of this top of this page should say "Logged in as:" and then your user name. Click on that section

Step 2: If you click on that you will be brought to a section that lists "Total Cumulative Posts, Posts per day..." You will also see your user name in large bold letters. Underneath your username there should be links saying, "Find all posts by this member · Add to contact list · Edit my Signature · Avatar Options · Edit my Profile " Click on "Avatar Options"

Step 3: You will then see "Welcome to your control panel" it will also say, "your current avatar, noavatar No avatar selected, pre-install avatars..." Under the Pre-Install Avatar you will see, "Choose an avatar from one of our galleries" Beside these words you will see a pull down menu. Click on "Base Gallery" and then "go".

Step 4:Some pictures will come up. If you like any of these click on the one you like, and then "Use Selected Avatar." You will thaen have an avatar. Although, if you don't like those avatars, use the pull down the menu and go to "Smiley Avatars" or "IPB Community Pack" Both of these work the same way. You chose a picture, and select it.

If you want to have an avatar from the internet, follow these four simple steps:

Step one: Find you avatar. Figure out which avatar from the internet you would like. You can search the web for avartars, or you can click here and use one from Avatarity.com.

Step Two: Usually when you find the avatar, it is on a page with many pictures and words. If you click on the avatar you want it will bring you to a page with your avatar and a description of the avatar. Right click on the picture of the avatar, and scroll down to "Save Picture As...". Save the picture on your computer.

Step Three: Now go to "Your Avatar Settings" and scroll down to "Upload a new image from your computer." Click on "Browse" and find the picture on your computer. Once you have found the picture, select it, and then click on "Open".

Step Four: Click on "Update Avatar" and you should have your avatar. Enjoy!

As you may have noticed, there is a thing called "Living Avatar" in your User CP's "edit avatar"



To see:



From there, it should ask you for a username. Type in your username from HarryPotterChat.

Once you've done that, it should ask you to sign in. Use your username and password from HarryPotterChat.

After you've signed in, you should see something that looks like this:



The first thing you have to do is "Purchase items" with your "points."

You should have the same amount of posts as points. Once you're in the "purchase items" area, select the "Chibi Life" to open the pack.

From there, chose your character, and dress them!
