In PoA he's the worst... then in OotP he's almost as bad...
But in all the movies he was too dramatic as Harry, even the first two.

Dan Radcliffe isn't just Harry Potter - he's an actor in other things too. In 2007 he worked on Order of the Phoenix, My boy Jack and the December boys. The last two wee period pieces where he was required to have short hair.

Sadly you cannot grow hair to order - hence Harry's long hair from G.O.F. had gone!

As he was very young when the first film was made - surely if you have qualms about his acting style you should blame the director? Dan was probably only doing as he was told!

true but the man who plays Hagrid? he surly hasnt got that long beard has he? its fake, they could do the smae with Dans (and his eyes...at least on the cover..)

You mean ask him to wear a wig for the whole film? He wasn't the only one whose hair had shrunk - Ron's hair was a lot shorter too!

I don't think Robbie Coltrane normally has a beard...... but aren't there references in the books to Harry's spikey short hair? From pictures i've seen Dan's hair seems to be in sympathy with Harry's!
