Is Dan and the trio getting too old for the movies?

heres something to think about Dan, Rupert and Emma all started wen they were about 11 12 something like that by the time the 5th movie comes they will be aslmost 20 i wonder if they will come back as another character in the last 3 movies?

they might still go on because somewhere it said that emma is going to try and stay for the 5th movie and maybe the other 2 movies after that

i think that they can cover up the age thing... yeahs they will look a lil older then they should... but there are plenty of people that play older or younger... ron is supposed to look older then he really is... hes supposed to tall... and emma looks about the age that she is supposed to be cause she is... and danny well he is getting older and hotter but that dont matter none... the movies wont be the same without the trio.... and i hope they keep them on... age or no age!!!

if a 28 year old can play a 16 year old on smallville then the age issue should be fine

I read that Rupert Grunt is the oldest, born in 1988. Daniel Radcliffe was born in 1989 and Emma Watson is the youngest born in 1990. It was part of the promo for the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Studios are notoriously loose with birth dates because they want the public to believe that their stars are age-appropriate in the films. So whatever birth dates the studios feed you, feel free to add or subtract 2-5 years. You see--math does come in handy.

if they really r 15,15,and14 then they should be fine with all of the movies

Wee, the last book came out in '03 and now its '05 sothe perfect solution would be suspended animation of some sort, then Dan, Emma, and Rup would look the same age regardless. Potterdog has a good point about Smallville though. I don't find it that difficult to suspend my disbelief about Clark. I couldn't believe they were still in school last season, but I got over it. People will just have to get over the age difference with Dan, Em, and Rupe too. It would be disasterous to introduce new actors in these parts.

and if they did the movies wouldn't be as good because the new actors wouldn't know each other as well and they wouldn't do the same things
