Is Dan and the trio getting too old for the movies?

I suppose I'll have to agree with that statement and just get over it. Unless, say, one of them does something too adult to get over - like get arrested for drunk driving or drug possession or soft delete this post or something. How adult was Dan's naked play thingy?

i agree with you, its 2007 now and they arent getting any younger....Dan and rupert are what? 18 and 19? and emmas turning 18 really soon. i mean, they're playing FIFTEEN YEAR OLDS this year. Not 19 and 20 year olds. they're going to be like 23 and 24 playing seventeen year olds, i dont care what any one says, they cant make you look THAT young. And look at dear ol' dan, off doing his little Equus thing tromping around naked? i mean i love the boy ta death and all, but thats a little bit crazy. even if he DID look gooooooood in that play....oh well. whatever...and ruperts big 2 0 is in less than a YEAR. LESS. wow. ok, i love them to death and i dont want to see them leave, but, really, how are they going to pull this off?

They all have contracts do they not?
It wouldn seem the same if they went an found some random 15 year olds for the parts!
And at least they arent actin like britney spears!lol

I don't think the trio is too old I mean they are already filming HBP and DH will be released in 2010 and it would make them in their early 20's and they would be playing 17-18 year olds which is fine since people don't change appearence that much between late teens and early 20s IMO anyway. The Dan, Rupert and Emma are already have a contract to be in the films til the end

I think that they will look great, they are fab in the movies and I hope they continue to be so.

Kids are growing so fast these days. Heck, some of the boys at my daughter's middle school look like they're in high school. I mean, a 6ft tall 12 yr old? Whoa!

My Son is 11 and 172 cm tall with a size 12 shoe (ummm that's 3 sizes larger than his father!)
I thought the twins looked really old in OOTP ..but it was still OK ...mixed in with the whole plot and movie.

Yes, Neville has gotten quite tall, and I agree that the twins looked a lot older in the last film. Maybe the filmmakers figured it would be a good thing, making the twins look more distinguished as business owners than the jokesters that they have always been.
Me, personally, I liked the twins the best in the GOF.........
