as i was reading the third harry potter book, and was picturing wormtail making a get away, snape comvincing fudge that the kids were befuddled, i couldn't help but think that there were ways he could have been saved.

verataserum for instance, just a couple of drops to harry or sirius should have cleaned the whole mess up. what do you think?
