Hey, what do you think happens when you've put a memory in the Penseive? Do you still have the memory in your head as you're walking around or do you just totally forget it because you've put it in the Penseive? If you forget it... well that's silly! How can you build thoughts/ theorems if you're taking out certain memories?? Do you know what I mean? | I recently just reread the 4th book (for about the fourth time now) and this is the first time I actually thought about that.. And it's a good question, but I believe that they do keep the thoughts in their head as well..but they just dont stay as clear I imagine. Thats what happens to our thoughts, anyways, they grow foggy over a period of time. Anyways, in book 5 when Harry looks in Snape's Pensieve and see's all the tormenting done by his father.. Snape hasn't just put his thoughts in there and forgot them.. he carries them with him, there is the proof in his hatred for Harry... |
