I think that should happen too, but I guess Hufflepuff does get a little bit of fame with Cedric Diggory, but then he dies... So, they need another hero. Ravenclaw has quite a few, Luna, Cho... And Slytherin has Malfoy, Crabbe... so basically, everyone but Hufflepuff has a mainish part.
