Buffy: Right on! Hagrid deserves to have his wand restored. Question is, why doesn't Dumbledore champion his cause? You don't need to graduate from Hogwarts to be a wizard. I'd be willing to bet that Mundungus Fletcher didn't graduate from any school. Yet he is permitted to do magic and he even belongs to the Order of the Phoenix. Hagrid is indeed getting the short straw.
